mahirap daw mag-aral kapag mainit.

3. Sleep - Kailangan ng 8 hours araw-araw, hindi ba? Calculate, this equals
to 130 days.

4. Relaxation - kailangan mo ng isang oras per day, sabi nila. (good for
health) means 15 days.

5. Pagkain - tatlong meals, snacktime, 2 hours estimate para doon.(dapat
chew properly). Bilangin mo, equal to 30 days.

6. Chit-Chat - "man is a social animal". So sabihin na nating isang oras
per araw kang nakikipang-chikahan. means 15 days.

7. Exams - per year, mga 35 exam days.

8. Festivals/holidays/araw para sa RALLY o MOB - 37 days.

First Day Funk

June 6, 2005 a day to be truly cherished...the orientation in UA&P called "Fresh Start" begins...
I now reveal my thoughts...

*I came to school late and this was the first day of my first year in the university!
* Our bathrooms does not only have aircon... but also has background music.. how soothing..
*I idolize Dr. T.. he's the man!! i quote his profound statement during the orientation "LUNDAGIN MO BABY!"
*We are required 27 units per semester.. that's a lot of work!
*I am included in Block C... our block rocks!
*Marco Figueras [high school classmate] is my blockmate.. woohooo!!
*Block C comprises of 32 students from different academic institutions
*I thought lunch was free.. but it wasn't... 50 pesos.. shit...
*Me and my HS classmates just ate siopao and drank C2 in the convenience store
*Parking in the school campus costs 30 pesos for the first 2 hours and 10 pesos for each succeeding hour
*UA&P in latin means Universitat Asiae Et Pacificarum
*Matty Naguiat, Paulo Andanar, Janus Jarapa and Marco Figueras are my HS classmates who joins me in UA&P
*The university has 12 varsities all in all, the institution's animal symbol is the DRAGON
*I have a Korean blockmate.. cool!
*We are to be deblocked during the 2nd sem.. sad!!!
*Despite the aircons in every classroom and venues... it's still freakin hot outside!
*The meaning of the latin word of study is "to be eager"
*The cut-off grade for 1st year is 2.75.. a grade lower than that means bye bye UA&P
*A strict dress code is implied for all members of the community.. that means no slippers and shorts... damn...
*Even though it just has been 8 hours and 30 minutes of being in the school,
I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!
*I can't wait for tomorrow...!!!!

By the way "Lundagin mo baby!" also means "carpi diem"...

why does high school have to end?... as ton-ton had stated in the retreat... "na-attatch na ako H" i have been pondering lately on what will be the outcome of me going out of the high school and entering the college world... now, i have made my decision to study in the University of Asia & the Pacific (UA&P) the only thing that bugs me is the thought of leaving my classmates behind... so sad... can't even think about it.. but this is the consequence of being completely attactched to the class.. the memories.. the joy... the fun. the laughter.. the tears .. the sadness.. the STRESS... if there's such a 5th year for highschool.. just like the masters degree in the college... i would completely agree! just to be with my classmates considered as the brothers closest to my heart and soul since i do not have a brother in my family... tomorrow we plan to sign the school uniform of each student in the class... for my intentions, i will even frame that polo and post on the wall of my room facing the bed so that i would never fail to remember my classmates even though we are far away geographically but near each other by heart...................
